I just wanted to give a huge shout out to Alvin Collantes. He got together with a group of students and put on an evening of three plays this week. All three plays were quite strong - it’s was one of the most enjoyable evenings I’ve had in a while.

Went to see a Shakespeare in the Park version of Othello last night. The atmosphere was great - you could either sit on the ground, or bring your own lawn chairs. Everyone around had bottles of wine, picnic lunches. Very civilized.
